Shirley Ann Ogden, 88, of Tuscola, passed away at 8:40 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center, Urbana, IL

Private Family Graveside Services will be held at the Payne Cemetery, Brocton, IL

Shirley was born on January 26, 1936 in Paris, the daughter of Ora C. and Golden H. Todd Bush. She married Lawrence E. Ogden on July 14, 1955 in Redmon, IL. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1977. They lived most of their lives in Tuscola where Larry worked at the USI Chemical Plant.

Survivors include her 3 sons: Ken (Karen) Ogden of Goodyear, AZ, Greg (Susie) Ogden and Jeff (Mary) Ogden both of Tuscola, 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and a brother: Phil Bush of Bainbridge, IN.

Along with her husband Larry, she was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Jay Bush.

For many years, Shirley had a special group of friends that she met for coffee on a daily basis. In her later years she enjoyed reading and really appreciated the Tuscola Public Library delivering books to her. She also loved watching the Fighting Illini and all college sports on TV.
