Diana L. Stone, 72, of Newman, IL, formerly of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Newman Rehab & Health Care Center, Newman, IL

Diana was born on March 19, 1947 in Columbia, KY, the youngest of eleven children born to Marvin and Thirsie Keltner Downey. She married Willard C. Stone on May 29, 1965 in Tennessee. He survives.

Other survivors include her daughters: Jennifer (Bart) North of Tuscola, Tiffney (Bill) Hutcherson of Humboldt, twin daughters: Anica Stone, who preceded her in death and Annesa (Kevin) Norman of Camargo, grandchildren: Shelby North, Landan Stone, Carli Stone and Parker Norman, brother: Jimmie Downey of Columbia, KY, sisters: Zenith (Ralph) Hatcher of Newman, Brenda Hatcher, Geneva Holmes and Evon Legg all of Columbia, KY. She had many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Along with her daughter, she was preceded in death by her parents and 5 brothers.

Diana was a member of the Atwood First Christian Church. She had worked as a dispatcher at the Douglas County Sheriff's Office for several years.

Services will be held at a later date.
