Obituary
Wilma H. Passon, 90, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 5:00 am, Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, May 24, 2010 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery with the Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. No Visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Passon was born on August 15, 1919 in Newman, IL, the daughter of Forest and Mary Ballard Payton. She married Max Passon on May 24, 1941 in Bowling Green, MO. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1969.
Survivors include her sons: William "Bill" Passon and wife: Jayne of Fishers, IN and Ronald Passon of Tuscola, IL, 3 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Memorials are suggested to the Newman American Legion Post.
Wilma formerly worked as a nurse's aid at Jarman Memorial Hospital in Tuscola for several years. She loved to play bingo, travel, read and work puzzles. She will be remembered as a very hard worker.
