Wilma Leona Keigley, 91, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 8:35 a.m., Monday, September 7, 2015 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, IL.

Wilma was born on May 2, 1924 in Oakland, IL, the daughter of Alvin and Leona Arney Dittamore. She married Kenneth Keigley on January 23, 1943 in Indianapolis, IN. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2003.

Survivors include her daughters: Elizabeth (Stephen) Fox of Arcola, Sarah Lawrence and Rebecca (Michael) Carroll both of Tuscola, 3 grandchildren: Cory K. (Stephanie) Fox of Salem, OR, Emily E. (Michael) Fernandez of Virginia Beach, VA, Stephen T. (Lindsey) Fox of Tuscola, IL, 3 great-grandchildren: Danny, Steven and Max, sister: Margie Temples of Bloomington, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 3 sisters and a granddaughter.

Wilma graduated from SIU School of Cosmetology and operated her own beauty salon in Tuscola for several years. She and her husband were house parents for Cunningham Children's Home in Urbana, IL for several years. Upon her retirement, she became a travel agent and she and her husband traveled the world.

She was a member of the Tuscola First Christian Church, Tuscola Kiwanis Club, Tuscola Chapter #44 Order of Eastern Star and National Hairdressers Association.

She loved gardening, writing poetry and spending time with her grandchildren.
