Willis Winn, 88, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 6:50 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL. No Visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.
Willis was born on March 30, 1923 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Plum C. and Oma Goodson Winn. He married Margaret Rose Cler on April 7, 1944. She survives.
Other survivors include 2 sons: Roger Winn and Ronald Winn, brother: Jim Winn of Lawrence, KS, 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Willis was a retired farmer and he was very proud of being a commercial pilot. He was a member of Tuscola Airport Improvements Limited (T.A.I.L.). Willis was an avid St. Louis Cardinal's and Tuscola Warrior's fan. He was a member of the Tri-City Country Club in Villa Grove.
