William R. "Bill" Marsh, 71, of Tuscola passed away peacefully at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at his home with his family by his side after a 2 years battle with cancer.

Mr. Marsh was born November 14, 1945 in Norwich, CT the son of Ralph and Ruth Killen Marsh. He married Wendy Runyan in 1998.

Bill is survived by his wife: Wendy Marsh of Tuscola, IL; 3 children: Stacie, Sherry and Billy; 3 grandchildren: Brandi, Cheyenne and Brooklyn; 2 brothers: Bob and Fred and 4 sisters: Betsy, Kathy, Dot and Sarah and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters: Ruthie, Susie and Mary Ann.

Bill served in the United States Navy during Vietnam on the USS Roosevelt. He attended Woodstock and traveled the country. Bill was an over the road truck driver for many years. The last 15 years he drove for Extreme. He drove for too many popular music groups to mention. He had a very exciting life. Bill enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting in his spare time. He was also a huge NASCAR fan. Bill was a member of the Kaskaskia Country Club, Tuscola Moose Lodge, VFW, ABATE, Ducks Unlimited the NRA and the Jaque Cartier Club.
