Wilfred Monroe Good, 87, of Urbana, IL, passed away peacefully at 8:24 pm Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Country Health Care and Rehab in Gifford, IL surrounded by his family.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Arcola Cemetery, Arcola, IL with Pastor Bob Hassell officiating. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 North Locust Street, Arcola, IL is assisting the Good family with services.

Wilfred was born November 22, 1929 in Clay County, TN, the son of Luther and Ova Edna Davis Good. He married Betty Lou Gordon on May 31, 1958 in Mattoon, IL.

He is survived by his loving wife: Betty, 3 sons: Michael (Kristine) Ritter of Champaign, IL; Glenn Douglas (Debbie) Good of Champaign, IL and Rick Eugene Good of Arcola, IL; 1 daughter: Jaqueline "Jackie" (Sam) Harris of Gifford, IL; 1 brother: Gerald Good of Arcola, IL; 2 sisters: Wanda Shields of Kemp, IL and Donna (Tim) Sisk of Fripp Island, SC; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Wilma Kerschner.

Mr. Good was a founding member of the Faith Baptist Church, Champaign, IL. He worked at the Meadow Gold Dairy for 38 years, spending his last 17 years as superintendent.
