Wanda C. Traxler, 92, of Arthur died at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the Arthur Cemetery with Pastor Mitch Flesch officiating. Shrader Funeral Home, Arthur, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Wanda was born November 4, 1928 in Hammond, the daughter of George and Eva Davis Silver. She married Darrel Traxler in Decatur on August 30, 1947; he preceded her in death on April 7, 2014.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bolt of Arthur; sons, Steven Traxler of Pasadena, Texas; Mark Traxler of Arthur; 5 grandchildren, Molly, Mandy, Michael, Darrel, Jason; and 6 great grandchildren, Ethan, Lillie, Kendall, Nathan, Peyton, and Ezra. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Timmy; and husband.

Wanda had worked as an executive secretary for the Texas Air National Guard, as secretary for Gordon Messmore Clinic in Arthur and also Staley's in Decatur.

Memorials are suggested to Eberhardt Village, Arthur.
