Wanda M. Myers, 80, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 3:45 pm, Friday, December 23, 2011 at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cartwright Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL.
Wanda was born on April 4, 1931 in Bourbon, IL, the daughter of George and Mary Blanche Mumper Oye. She married Robert William Randolph. He preceded her in death on August 12, 1949. She then married Merlan J. Myers on April 18, 1953 in Garrett, IL. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2000.
Survivors include her son: Robert Randolph of Edinburg, IL, daughter: Gloria Eaton of Boerne, TX, 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and a sister: Thelma Riddle of Tuscola, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, BETH's Place, James Reeder American Legion Post or to the United Church of Atwood.
Wanda was a homemaker. She was a very active member of the United Church of Atwood and the James Reeder American Legion Auxiliary, Atwood, IL.
