Virginia Helen Teeter, 98, of Tuscola, IL, went to be with our heavenly father on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 1:15 am at the Tuscola Health Care Center.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Scott Zorn officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Teeter was born on January 31, 1912 in St Peter, IL, to Lewis Allen and Nellie Frances Conner Day. She married Homer Leroy Teeter on July 6, 1931 in Tolono, IL. He preceded her in death on August 14, 1965.

Surviving are 3 daughters. Amanda Cribbett (Frank) of Colorado Springs, CO, Orlena McDaniel (Curt) of Tuscola, IL and Patricia Voyles (Delmar, deceased) of Weatherford, TX
.
She has 10 living grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She has one sister: Alice Jargon of Decatur Ill.

Two great-grandchildren, two sisters and seven brothers preceded her in death.

Virginia has lived most of her life in the Tuscola area. She has been a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother.
Her favorite things included playing cards, bingo, needlework, fishing and spending time with her family. Her faith was the Christian church.

Memorials can be made to the Tuscola First Christian Church or Donor's Choice.
