Tonna Rae Champagne, 47, of Villa Grove, IL passed away at 6:00 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL
with Pastor Duane Piercy officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Murdock Cemetery, Murdock, IL.
Tonna was born December 16, 1969 in Los Angeles, CA, the daughter of Roger Champagne and Maria Joan Wilkerson.
Tonna is survived by her father: Roger Champagne of Elephant Butte, NM; son: Johnathan Champagne-Turner of Villa Grove, IL; her daughter: Ashlee Champagne-Turner of Villa Grove, IL; brother: Philip Champagne and fiancé Rachel Kleiss of Villa Grove, IL and sister: Brandi Coatney and husband Jarrod of Sparks, NV and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Tonna was a member of the Pink Hat Club. She enjoyed watching sports. She loved animals, especially her dogs: Izzy and Mia. Tonna worked at the Champaign County Nursing Home for 18 years.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society.
