Obituary
Tim Edward "Hump" Pohlig, 59, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:05 A.M. Friday, January 1, 2010 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M., Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 S. Main Street, Tuscola, IL with the Rev. Patty Johansen officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.
Tim was born on July 4, 1950 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Jules E. and Gertrude Loyd Pohlig. He married Diane Marie Volk on September 29, 1979 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include his children: Jessica Marie Pohlig of Greenfield, IN, and Bradley James Pohlig of Atwood, IL
He was preceded by his parents and brother: James E. Pohlig
Tim was a semi-retired auto mechanic and he worked part time at the Tuscola Package Liquor store. He was a 1968 graduate of Tuscola Community High School and a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge. Tim loved his children and family above everything. He enjoyed rebuilding and working on cars.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
