Obituary
Thomas H. Cook, 81, of Tolono,IL, formerly of Bourbon,IL, died at 3:23 PM Monday, March 31, 2008 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, with Rev. Steve Diehl officiating. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon until 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Cook was born May 28, 1926 in Galton, the son of John F. and Gail Bonner Cook. He married Jean Deckard in Sullivan on Feb. 17, 1951. She survives.
Besides his wife, Jean Cook of Tolono, he is survived by 2 sisters, Shirley Williams of Champaign, Betty Ross of Royal; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters.
