Thomas Tucker “Tuck” Bowles, 72, of Lovington, formerly of Tuscola, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, January 28, 2026.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2026 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial will follow in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Tuck was born on December 13, 1953 in Tuscola, the son of Onie Jay and Marjorie L. Conn Bowles.

Survivors include his daughters: Hope (Daryl) Griffin of Bellevue, NE and Amanda Bowles of Champaign, grandson: Will Griffin, sister: Susie Kingery (Todd Edmundson) of Tuscola, brother: Sam Bowles of Lafayette, IN and special friend: Carol Briggerman. Also surviving is his aunt: Ruth Benner, 6 nephews and several cousins who grew up like brothers and sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: William “Bill” Bowles.

Tuck worked as a woodworker. He enjoyed nature and walking in the woods. Tuck was a 1972 graduate of Tuscola Community High School.
