Thomas Arthur Baker, 76, of Mattoon, formerly of Moline, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016 at his residence.

Thomas was born May 24, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Harold and Zola Echelberger Baker. He married Marilyn Dawson in Mattoon on Dec. 4, 1964.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn Baker of Mattoon; Son, Thomas Baker, Jr. of Mattoon; granddaughter, Emma Baker of Mattoon; sister, Jean (Steve) Mumford of Tie Siding, Wyoming; and brother, John (Vickie) Baker of Minburn, Iowa.

Thomas was an electrician and member of the IBEW Local 145 in Rock Island for 45 years.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

There will be no services.
