Obituary
Thelma M. Riddle, 93, of Garrett, IL, passed away at 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Cartwright Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL, with Dr. Lanny Faulkner officiating. No visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is entrusted with the arrangements.
Thelma was born on August 18, 1919 in Douglas County, IL, the daughter of George and Blanche Mumper Oye. She married Sylvan W. "Sib" Riddle on December 21, 1940 in Bowling Green, MO. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1997.
Survivors include her sister-in-law: Bettye Gilmore and several loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Thelma belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and she attended the United Church of Atwood. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
