Thelma I. Little, 99, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 6:43 p.m., Thursday, April 28, 2011 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL with the Rev. Kenneth Roedder officiating. No Visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Little was born on November 27, 1911 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Walter and Bertha Jolley Shaw. She married Elmer J. Little on January 15, 1931 in Camargo, IL. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1995.

Survivors include her two sons: Larry Little of Tuscola, IL and Gary Little of Lincoln, IL, 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by parents, one brother: Raymond Shaw, two sisters: Doris Thomas and Jane Clapp, one granddaughter and one great-grandson

Memorials are suggested to the Galton Ladies Club.

Thelma was a homemaker and farm wife, who lived on the family farm until her passing. She was a member of the Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church and the Galton Ladies Club. She was a very devoted wife and was the best mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved gardening, working in her flower garden and was a wonderful cook. Her later years were spent with her pal and dog "Buddy" and her beloved friend: Vickie. She loved company and conversation. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
