Terry Lee Van Dorn lived 84 great years. He was born on June 1, 1937 and went home to join his loving partner of 22 years, Gini Montgomery on Wednesday evening, February 23, 2022.

Along with his parents Gladys and Alvin Van Dorn, he was preceded by a brother, five sisters and two daughters Linda Dallas and Brenda Franklin.

Left behind to carry on are his two sisters: Kathy Van Dorn and Sheila Pruitt, two daughters: Teresa Watters and Vicki (Mike) Carter, nine grandchildren: Jennifer Watters, Dustin, Brandon, Hana and Haylee Carter, Cody and Chelsea Dallas, Matt and Terry Franklin, 20 great-grandchildren, four stepchildren: Lisa Long, Danee Asemgar, Charlie Montgomery and Dick Montgomery.

Also surviving is their cat "Charlie" whom Terry and Gini loved dearly.

He retired from USI where he worked for over 40 years.

Terry enjoyed bowling, fishing, golfing and travelling. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family and friends and caring for others.

Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
