Tammy (Tami) Lynn Henson, age 46, formerly of Tuscola, IL passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 4:34 a.m. in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, IL from injuries sustained in a car accident on April 26, 2015.

Tami was born December 31, 1968 at St. John's Hospital in Creve Coeur, MO, to Kenneth L. Henson and Brenda Jean Williams Henson.

Brenda and Tami moved to Tuscola in 1976 where Tami graduated from the Tuscola High School Class of 1987. During one of her high school years she enjoyed being the school mascot.

Her father lived in Lamar, Mississippi preceded her in death in 2011. and a half-brother: Mark Henson, who died in 1972 at Pueblo, CO. Surviving Tami is her mother Brenda Henson, and Tami's three sons, Brett E. Clifton Jr, Benjamin E. Clifton and Brayden Kenneth Bartley and a half-brother, Steve Henson who lives in Pueblo, CO.

Tami enjoyed people and spent most of her life working in retail and as a waitress, where she met many people who became life long friends. She had a fun loving spirit and a beautiful smile. Tami will be missed by her family and friends.

Services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the First Christian Church, 201 East Church Street, Tuscola, IL with Cecil Smith officiating. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL is entrusted with the arrangements.
