Susan K. Batts O'Brien, 51, of Tuscola, IL, passed away suddenly at 12:25 p.m., Monday, February 27, 2012 at her residence.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. on Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home.
Susan was born on September 7, 1960 in Belleville, IL, the daughter of Donald and Joan Pawloski Musk. She married Lewis C. O'Brien on February 23, 2012 in Tuscola, IL. He survives.
Other survivors include her children: Kara Batts of Bondville, IL and Ryan Batts of Tuscola, IL, her mother: Joan Musk of Benton, IL and brother: Steven Musk of West Frankfort, IL.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Susan worked as an assistant manager for Bonworth. She was a member of the Women of the Moose.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Nunn Scout Building, c/o Tuscola Community Foundation, P.O. Box 252, Tuscola, IL 61953
