Steven (Jake) Lee Jacobs, 70, passed away on June 3, 2024, at home in Indianapolis, IN.  He was born on February 15, 1954, in Tuscola, IL to Joseph Alvin Jacobs and Evelyn Dean Jacobs McLaughlin.

Jake worked as an over the road driver, automotive mechanic and heavy diesel equipment technician.  He was a dedicated professional throughout his career.

He is survived by his children Ryan, Tim (Angela) and Sarah.  Jake also leaves behind six (6) grandchildren and one great grandson.  He is remembered by his mother, Evelyn McLaughlin, sisters Carolyn Warters and Kathryn (Jeff) Fitzgerald and brothers Joe (Kathy) Jacobs, Mike Jacobs, Rodney Jacobs and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 21, at 11:am at Cartwright Cemetery in rural Tuscola, IL.  The service is private for family and close friends.
