Obituary
Stacia "Spacee" Lee Sapp, 52, of Mahomet, died at 7:30 PM Monday, March 2, 2015 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
There will be a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Staci's life from 1:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at the Champaign Sportsman's Club, 302 N. Lake of the Woods Road, Mahomet. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Staci was born July 19, 1962 in Urbana, the daughter of Sandra Schrock. She married James M. Sapp in Urbana on June 16, 1984.
Survivors include her husband, James "Tiny" Sapp of Mahomet; mother, Sonnie Bowman of
Mahomet; sons, Dylan Sapp of Champaign; daughter, Jessica (Brian) Bates of Mahomet; 2 grandchildren, Oona and Lula Bates; and sister, Lori Johnson of Mahomet.
Staci always had a smile and open heart to everyone who knew her and some who didn't. She was a burst of energy and her loss has made the whole world a duller place. She will be dearly missed.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
