Shirley A. Whitaker, 67, of Tuscola, IL, died at 2:13 A.M., Thursday, August 10, 2006 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, Illinois
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 12, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Jerry Conner officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, Illinois
Miss Whitaker was born on October 29, 1938 in Arcola, IL, the daughter of Henry and Helena M. Hogan Whitaker.
Survivors include: 1 Brother: Henry "Hank" Whitaker of Tuscola, IL, Several Nieces and Nephews
She was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters.
Memorials are suggested to the Tuscola Health Care Center Activity Fund, 1203 Egyptian Trail, Tuscola, IL 61953
Shirley was a former home day care provider and she retired from the Tuscola Health Care Center, where she worked as a cook for 26 years. She was the president of the resident's council at the health care center.
