Shirley J. Hausmann, 76, of Tuscola, IL, died at 2:10 P.M., Thursday, June 15, 2006 at her residence.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M., Monday, (June 19, 2006) at the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 East Van Allen Tuscola, IL, with Father Allen Kemme as celebrant. Visitation will be held 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Sunday (June 18, 2006) at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main St. Tuscola, IL, with a 4:00 P.M. Vigil Service. Burial will be in Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Mrs. Hausmann was born September 22, 1929 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Claude F. and Effie C. Fry English. She married Robert L. Hausmann on April 21, 1949 in Tuscola, Illinois He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter: Vicki Strohl of Downs, IL; 2 Grandsons: Scott Strohl and wife Lisa of Chenoa, IL; Brian Strohl and wife Sambath of Beaverton, OR; 3 Great- Grandchildren: Colton and Samantha Strohl of Chenoa, IL and Logan Strohl of Beaverton, OR.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Hausmann was a member of the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church and the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church Altar Society. She had formerly worked as a beautician for 20 years and she had worked as a executive secretary for an avionics firm in Austin, Texas. She was a very loving wife, a wonderful mother and grandmother. Shirley loved being with her family and dancing.
