Sherry N. Bonomo, 68, of Tuscola, IL, formerly of Atwood, IL, passed away at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with Dr. Lanny Faulkner officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL.

Sherry was born on February 4, 1945 in Salem, IN, the daughter of Nelson and Gladys Thompson Earley.

Survivors include her son: Jeffrey N. (Kelly) Stanley of Hammond, IL, and his children: Ashley (Jordan) Pollock and their children; Kaiden and Karter of Osh Kosh, WI, Chantel (Glen) McComas and their children: Kale and Ryann of Allerton, IL, Brandon Stanley, Kaley Stanley and Lacey Stanley all of Hammond, IL, 3 sisters: Bonnie (Carl) Barbee of Atwood, Rheadon (Larry) Kresin of Tuscola and Stevie (Ted) Shearer of Villa Grove, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Atwood.

Sherry worked as a LPN for 32 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going out to eat with her high school classmates and boating at Lake Shelbyville.
