Sharon Kay Ayer, 58, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 6:45 P.M., Thursday, December 27, 2007 at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Private family graveside services will be held at the Assumption Cemetery, Assumption, IL with Rev. Patricia Hutton officiating.
Mrs. Ayer was born on November 6, 1949 in Assumption, IL, the daughter of Clyde and Thelma Meyers Slifer. She married Benny G. Ayer on April 2, 1975 in Taylorville, IL. He survives.
Other survivors include: 2 Sons; Scott Lawrence of Decatur, IL, Benny Allan Ayer of Hammond, IL, 1 Daughter: Crystal Cook of Atwood, IL, 2 Brothers: Richard Slifer of Assumption, IL, Ronnie Slifer of Shelbyville, IL, 2 Sisters: Edith Bilyeu of Pana, IL, Twin Sister: Karen Norman of St. Joseph, MO, 3 Grandchildren: Violet Turnbo, Jasmine Turnbo and Lucas Allan Ayer
She was preceded in death by her Parents, 5 Brothers and 3 Sisters
Memorials are suggested to the Ayer Family.
Mrs. Ayer was a homemaker and former cook. She loved her family, grandkids and her cat: Toby.
