Obituary
Scott Alan Bailey, 35, of Charleston, died at 11:50 AM Saturday, August 18, 2012, from complications from Muscular Dystrophy at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center near Mattoon.
Scott was born July 6, 1977 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center the son of Doyle and JoAnne Gooch Bailey.
He is survived by his parents, Doyle and JoAnne Bailey of Charleston; and sister, Kara Bailey of Chicago. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Myrl and Eva Bailey of Albion; and James and Pauline Gooch of Arcola.
Scott graduated from Charleston High School Class of 1995. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Geography from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, in 2006.
He loved to travel and had visited 48 states. He was a computer whiz and former weather watcher for WCIA.
There will be no services. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 115 N. Neil, Champaign, IL 61820.
