Obituary
Sarah Margaret Wehrle, 75, of Arthur, died at 4:07 AM Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Carle Hospital, Urbana.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur, with Rev. Dick Elder officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Sarah was born September 2, 1939 in Decatur, the daughter of Alvin and Evelyn Richardson Scott. She married Joseph Keith Wehrle on June 11, 1968 in Champaign; he preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2000.
Survivors include 3 sons, Richard Phillips of Garrett; Brian (Beth) Wehrle of Arthur; Donny (Amy) Wehrle of Charleston; 3 daughters, Pam (Jim) Marler of Villa Grove; Beverly (Ronnie) Hill of Hammond; Penny (Chris) Orndoff of Atwood; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Tim Phillips, and 3 brothers.
Sarah was employed as a CNA for 44 years as a home healthcare provider. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies at the Arthur Home.
Memorials are suggested to the Arthur Home Activity Dept.
