Sandra Kay Kauffman, 63, of Urbana, IL, formerly of Atwood, IL, passed away suddenly at 7:03 pm, Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with Pastor Duane Piercy officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL
Sandra was born on March 17, 1948 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Dean Anderson and Doris Shipman. She married Ervin F. Kauffman on November 15, 1964 in Atwood, IL. He survives.
Other survivors include her sons: Danny (Lauri) Kauffman of Arthur, IL and Rick (Amy) Kauffman of Garrett, IL, grandchildren: Lindsey, Devon, TJ, Tiffany, Emily and Myra, great-granddaughter: Addison, brother: Robert (Audrey) Humphrey of Arcola, IL
She was preceded in death by her mother: Doris Humphrey, sister: Pam and grandparents: Coy and Myra Shipman of Atwood.
Sandra enjoyed shopping, traveling, reading, making Christmas cookies, and gospel music. She really enjoyed spending time with her family.
