Ruth E. Randolph, 94, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:14 a.m., Saturday, February 13, 2010 at The Arthur Home, Arthur, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 S. Main St. Tuscola, IL with the Rev. Kenneth Roedder officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.
Mrs. Randolph was born on January 10, 1916 in Douglas County, IL, the daughter of Oley and Catherine Knopp Laughlin. She married Eugene W. Randolph on December 26, 1936 in Tuscola, IL. He preceded her in death on September 23, 1999.
Survivors include her 2 Granddaughters: Shawna Bosch and husband: Todd of Pesotum, IL, Tricia Scott and husband: Chris of Tuscola, IL, 4 Great-Grandchildren: Nicole Crouch, Brian Bosch, Stephen Bosch and Dylan Scott, 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter: Aubrey Crouch
She was preceded in death by her daughter: Judy Bean and a sister: Dorothy Jones
Ruth and her husband farmed west of Tuscola for many years prior to their retirement. Ruth enjoyed going to the Tuscola Senior Center and playing cards. She was a member of the Douglas County Museum Association.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: The Tuscola Peace Meal Program or the Tuscola Senior Center, 133 W. Sale Street, Tuscola, IL 61953.
