Ruth L. Gulley, 88, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 9:55 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at her residence.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the Lake Fork Cemetery rural Atwood, IL. No Visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Gulley was born on November 3, 1923 in Chicago Heights, IL, the daughter of Ray and Zelma Marty Harrington. She married Dan T. Gulley on August 18, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1978.
Ruth is survived by her daughters: Peggy Fox of Tuscola, IL and Margo West of Atwood, IL; sister: Elsie Frazier of Evansville, IN; 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers.
Mrs. Gulley was a retired in-home health care provider.
Memorial contributions maybe made to the American Heart Association.
