Russell Lee Perrine, 54, of Arthur, died at 8:23 AM Thursday, January 6, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 10, 2011 at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur, with Rev. Dr. Teresa Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Russell was born March 8, 1956 in Decatur, the son of William and Emma Lee Harmon Perrine. He married Sue Warpenburg in Charleston on May 2, 1981.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Perrine of Arthur; son, Nicholas Perrine of Cisco; 2 brothers, Rodney (Linda) Perrine of Sullivan; Daniel (Alisa) Perrine of Arthur; Aunt LaVonne Graven of Sullivan; 3 nieces, Jennifer Perrine of Arthur; Mindy Sanders of Sullivan; and Lisa Place of New York City, New York.

Russell was a graduate of Arthur High School. He was employed as Branch Manager of S&K Air Power Tool and Supply Corp. in Mattoon for 32 years. He was a member of the Vine Street Christian Church in Arthur; formerly served as a trustee on the Arthur Village Board; and had been a member of the Lions Club in Charleston.

Memorials are suggested to Arthur High School; American Heart Association; or American Diabetes Association.
