Roseanna "Rosie" Ragland, 68, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2011 at her home.
Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.
Mrs. Ragland was born January 29, 1943 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Walter and Mabel Wood. She married William Ragland June 28, 1971 in Reno, NV. He preceded her in death August 12, 2007.
She is survived by her children: Marsha Hector, Jimmy (Sande) Hector, Doris Lantz, Roxanna (Donnie) Rutherford, Ronald (Kerry) Hector, Ronda Stephens, Keisha (Jason) Ragland, Nathan (Billie) Ragland, Heather (Alex) Stephens, Christina (Steve) Drake, Janet Marie Vanamann, Mary Ann (Steve) Shrum, Teresa, William G. "Bill" (Julie) Ragland, Grandchildren: Jessica, Jenifer, Michael, Alex, Jeffrey, Baylee, Samantha, Tara, Molly, Zach, Brandon, Devon and Matt;
Great-Grandchildren: Niki, Bianca, Michael, Hailey, Lexi, and Coby
Rosie was a bus driver for Head Start. She never turned anyone away that was in need, her home was always open.
