Rose M. Miller, 49, of Tuscola, IL, passed away suddenly at 3:13 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday until time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Rose was born on September 1, 1964 in Terre Haute, IN, the daughter of Leonard P. and El-Frieda Apfel Jackson, Sr. She married Terry G. Miller on June 17, 2004 in Tuscola, IL. He survives.

Other survivors include her mother and stepfather: El-Frieda and George Moran of Tuscola, IL, son: Dustin (Kevin) Jackson-Gosnell of Ashmore, IL, daughter: Katelin Moran of Tuscola, IL, stepsons: Tony (Molly) Miller of Sterling Grove, KY, Geoff Miller and Vinnie Miller both of Mattoon, IL, 7 grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her father, brothers: Anthony James "TJ" Jackson and Len Jackson, and granddaughter: Karsyn Maulding
Rose graduated from Tuscola Community High School in 1983. She formerly had worked as a CNA. She worked for ConAir in Rantoul, Walmart in Champaign and Mattoon and Bath and Body Works in Tuscola. She was a member of the Tuscola Women of the Moose and was the inspiration for the Joshua Dwayne and Night Train Band. Rose was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Memorials are suggested to the family to help pay for funeral expenses.
