Obituary
Ronnie H. Drake, 69, of Garrett, IL passed away at 7:44 a.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm, Friday, January 25, 2013 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL. Rev. Patty Johansen will officiate. Military Rites will be accorded. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 S. Main St., Tuscola, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Drake was born October 9, 1943 in Tuscola, IL the son of Ernest and Mabel Pickle Drake.
Ronnie is survived by his Daughter: Jennifer Clark and husband John of Tuscola, IL; Step-Children: John Richard Ervin of Tuscola, IL and Crystal Mefford of Mattoon, IL; 4 Grandchildren: Chantelle Clark, Amber Miller, Ashtyn Clark and Allison Clark; 5 Brothers: Jerry Drake, Jesse Drake, Larry Drake, Dennis Drake and Danny Drake; 2 Sisters: Pam Drake and Vera Mueller.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sister: Donna Mitsdarfer, and a Step-Daughter: Cynthia Bassett.
Mr. Drake was a United States Army Veteran. He worked as a broom maker for Warren Brothers in Arcola, IL for many years.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: American Diabetes Association.
