Ronald Lee Hooker, 65, of Villa Grove, IL, formerly of Atwood and Bement, IL, passed away at 2:40 A.M., Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL
Services celebrating his life will be held at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Mr. Hooker was born on January 3, 1943 in Monticello, IL, the son of Herman and Lucille Robison Hooker.
Survivors include: 1 Son: Tony Hooker and wife: Julie of Villa Grove, IL, 1 Daughter: Roni Watson of Dawson Springs, KY, 1 Brother: Don Hooker and wife: Sharon of Bement, IL, 6 Grandchildren: Karmen Stromley, Bobbi Jo Watson, Zachary Hooker, Clayton Hooker, Tristan Watson and Tommie Anne Hooker
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Ron was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Fighting Illini Fan. He was a Civil War enthusiast.
