Obituary
Ronald Lee Dick, 66, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 5:13 a.m., Monday, September 23, 2013 at his residence.
Graveside Services with military graveside rites accorded will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery. No visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is entrusted with the arrangements.
Ronald was born on March 29, 1947 in Morris, IL, the son of Leo L. and Grace C. Wildman Dick. He married Jimi Gay Patterson Fair on November 14, 1970 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include his father: Leo L. Dick of Tuscola, IL, son: Chip (Rhonda) Fair of Tuscola, daughter: Tiffany (Brian) Larson of Woodstock, IL, granddaughters: Olivia, Audrey and Ellie Larson, sister: Pamela Dick of Donovan, MO.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Memorials are suggested to the Presence Covenant Hospice Care Program or to the Donor's Choice.
Ronald worked as a heavy equipment operator for Clifford Jacobs Forging Company in Champaign, IL for 39 years. He was a member of IUOE Local 841. He was a 1965 graduate of Tuscola Community High School. Ronald served his country from 1966 to 1970 as a member of the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
