Obituary
Ronald Dean Bagley, 79, passed away suddenly Sunday, December 17 at his home in Mahomet.
Born on June 26, 1938 in Decatur, IL, the son of Robert Wayne and Gladys Evelyn Redman Bagley, he married Georgia Lee Mardis on March 21, 1962 in Paris, IL. She survives.
Ron served his country in the US Marine Corps and was an expert marksman. He worked in the construction trades before finishing his career as a building inspector at the University of Illinois. He was a believer who loved Jesus.
He is survived by children: Rhonda (Dan) Proctor of Mahomet, Brooke Christine (Pat) Goschy of Houston TX, and Steven Mardis (Phnam) Bagley of San Francisco, CA. Known simply as "GP", the grandchildren include; Phillip, Jessica, Maxwell and Olivia Proctor; Max and Paul Goschy. Surviving siblings are; Robin Coleman, Bob Bagley, Gary Bagley (Decatur) and Mike Grady (London, England).
Graveside Services with military rites will be held at 2 pm, Friday, December 22 at the Tuscola, IL Township Cemetery. No visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, in Tuscola is assisting the family with arrangements.
