Obituary
Robert H. "Bob" Reece, 94, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 8:48 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL.
Private family services will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 S. Main St., Tuscola, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
Memorial contributions maybe made to SAM Food Pantry or Douglas County Relay for Life.
Bob was born June 20, 1919 in Arcola, IL the son of Herman and Grace Fitzgerald Reece. He married Faye E. "Ene" Brazil on May 8, 1943 in Harlingen, TX. She preceded him in death on March 18, 2013.
He is survived by his son Morrie Reece and wife: Sue of Wildwood, MO; daughter: Sonya Lu Stickel and husband: Jack of Tuscola, IL; granddaughters: Allison Harper of Chesterfield, MO and Tammy Bennett of Tuscola, IL; 4 great-grandchildren: Grace Jacob, Matthew Bennett, Thomas Bennett and Andrew Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church, Tuscola Moose Lodge and the Elks Club. Bob and his wife, Ene, were the 1998 Tuscola Homecoming Parade Grand Marshals. They were awarded the TCHS Outstanding Sports Fan Award.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Sam Food Pantry or the Douglas County Relay for Life.
