Robert W. "Bob" Cruzan, 79, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:22 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial with military graveside rites will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Bob was born on October 13, 1933 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Arlie and Bessie Martin Cruzan. He married Betty Lash on October 26, 1953 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include his sons: Dennis (Sandi) Cruzan of Tuscola, Steven (Corrina) Cruzan of Oakland, daughter: Vickie (Craig) Patton of Villa Grove, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister: Dorothy Lacey of Powder Springs, GA

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter: Amy Cruzan, brothers: John and Lloyd Cruzan, sisters: Rosemary Neal and Mildred Rollins

Bob retired in 1996 from Equistar Chemical Company in Tuscola, where he worked as an operator for 40 years. He was a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge, Mattoon Eagles and the T.K. Martin VFW Post #10009.He was a US Army Veteran. Bob's favorite pastime was spending time with grandkids and great-grandkids.
