Robert R. "Bob" Burokas, 74, of Hammond, IL, passed away at 1:27 a.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, Westchester, IL, with visitation 1 hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, Hillside, IL

Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Atwood, IL is handling the local arrangements.

Bob was born on August 12, 1941, in Chicago, IL, the son of Raymond and Josephine Rupslauskas Burokos. He married Judith E. Eaton on August 25, 1989 in Champaign, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are his sons: Steve (Stacie) Burokas of St. Louis, MO and Mike (Julie) Burokas of White Heath, IL, grandchildren: Ashton, Peyton, Abigail and Jacob, brother: Raymond (Chris) Burokas of Elgin, IL, 2 nephews and 1 niece, and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob retired from Solo Cup in Urbana, IL, where he worked as the corporate credit manager. He and his wife owned and operated antique stores in St. Joseph, IL for several years. Bob loved his dogs very much.
