Robert E. "Bobby" Porter, 45, of Shelbyville, IL, formerly of Villa Grove, IL, passed away at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at his residence.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Centennial Cemetery, Villa Grove, IL, with the Rev. Jerry Conner officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:30 pm, Sunday at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Bobby was born on May 30, 1964 in Robinson, IL, the son of Robert L. and Peggy L. Poff Porter. He married Connie Eddy on July 17, 1982 in Villa Grove, IL. She preceded him in death on January 2, 2001.

Survivors include his daughters: Shanna Carleton Yoder and husband: Josh of Villa Grove, IL, Roxanne Galyen and husband; Tyler of Villa Grove, IL, 3 Grandsons: Hunter Yoder, Hayden Yoder and Trace Galyen, his mother: Peggy Porter of Atwood, IL, Brother: Kory L. Porter of Villa Grove, IL, 3 Sisters: Margel E. Morgan and husband: Larry of Atwood, IL, Jacqueline S. Harbin and husband: Greg of Villa Grove, IL, Tamela J. Azhar and husband: Azhar of Tuscola, IL

He was preceded in death by his father.

Bobby was a roofer. He was a 1982 graduate of Villa Grove High School. He loved building cars with his dad. Bobby loved spending time with his grandsons and family members. He never had a bad day.
