Obituary
Rita M. Cler, 73, of rural Tuscola, IL, passed away at 3:20 pm, Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL
A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at 10 am, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the St. Patrick Parish, 212 East Washington Street, Tolono, IL, with Father John Cyr as celebrant. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, with a 7:00 pm Vigil Service on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.
Mrs. Cler was born on December 10, 1937 in Fall River, MA, the daughter of Tony and Beatrice Alsmorado Pacheco. She married Quentin "Buck" Cler on April 30, 1955 in Fall River, MA. He survives.
Other survivors include her daughter: Melanie (Chris) Hill of Tuscola, IL and Palm Beach, FL, sons: Greg (Sherry) Cler of Tolono, IL, Kevin (Dori) Cler of Palm Beach, FL, 4 Grandchildren: Gustin, Garret, Grant, and Garrison, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Alexis, Quintin and Graydin
She was preceded in death by her parents and one great-grandson: Carson Cler
Rita owned and operated Rita's Wig and Style for many years. She was a former travel agent for Savoy Travel. Rita was a member of the St. Patrick Parish, Homemaker's Extension and the Pesotum American Legion Auxiliary.
