Reggie C. Arnett, 62, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 2:30 pm, Friday, September 7, 2012 at Birdseye, IN.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Hammond Cemetery, Hammond, IL with military graveside rites accorded.

Reggie was born on March 25, 1950 in Kentucky, the son of James Carl and Lucy Elizabeth Stewart Arnett.

Survivors include his daughter and best friend: Angela Carnahan of Sauk Rapids, MN, grandsons: Landon and Jarrett, brothers: Bob Arnett and wife: Carol of Hammond, Darrell Arnett of Hammond, Danny Arnett of Pierson Station, and Rick Arnett of Mattoon, sisters: Wanda Mosbarger and husband: Gary of Hammond and Brenda Sebens and husband: Roger of Hammond, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Lonnie Dale Arnett.

Reggie retired from the University of Illinois, where he worked as a Superintendent of Building Services. He was a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge. Reggie enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews play sports. He was an avid golfer and he enjoyed watching University of Illinois sports, Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed attending his Saturday morning breakfast club. Reggie was a US Air Force Veteran. "Playin on God's Golf Course"
