Redyth A. Lindsey, 85, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 7:45 A.M., Friday, September 21, 2007 at her residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Patty Johansen officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cartwright Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL.

Mrs. Lindsey was born on November 11, 1921 in Charleston, IL, the daughter of Emery and Sylvia M. Walters Green. She married Millard Lindsey on March 30, 1947 in Bloomington, IL. He preceded her in death on January 9, 1995.

Survivors include her daughters: Nadine Parker and husband: Tom of Morristown, TN, Sharon Lee of Marysville, Washington, Grandchildren: Lisa Jolley, Lora Bartlett, LeAnn Lanz, Lynn Tuerff, Michael Lee and Tamra Taylor, Great-Grandchildren: Andrew Jolley, Taylor Jolley, Austin Lanz, Shelby Lanz, Tommy Bartlett, Sarah Jane Bartlett, Parker Tuerff, Travis Tuerff, Kelly Tuerff, Kaeley Taylor, Derrick Taylor and Cameron Lee, Sisters: Betty Klein of Paragould, AR, Velma Dallas of Tuscola, IL, Charlene Green of Tuscola, IL,

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother: Carl Green and Grandson: David Lee

Mrs. Lindsey was a former telephone operator and homemaker. She loved to write letters, work crossword puzzles and sit on her back porch.
