Rand y D. Oaks Sr., 60, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 12:05 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2020 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Randy was born on April 21, 1960 in East Liverpool, OH, the son of Tom B. and Becky Kinaman Oaks. He married Edna M. Whipple on August 26, 1980 in Mt. Vernon, IL. She survives.

Also surviving are his sons: Randy (Wanda) Oaks, Jr. And Benjamin Oaks, daughters: Rachel Oaks and Maggie (Gary) King, 7 grandchildren, brothers: Mattie (Susie) Oaks, Leroy (Sophie) Oaks and Jerry (Bobbie) Oaks, sister: Gail (Louis) Ward.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Randy was a self-employed paving contractor. He was a Christian and loved his church. He enjoyed spending time with his many family members and was always the comic of the family.

Randy was the best salesman and loved working hard laying asphalt.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Family visitation will be held at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL

Graveside Services will be held at the Stearns Cemetery, rural Ogden, IL with Pastor Finney Eddington officiating.
