Rachael Helene Wierman, 43, of Astoria, formerly of Arcola and Atwood, died at 9:05 PM Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
The Family is saying "goodbye" to Rachael at 3:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Havana, 101 S. Broadway, Havana, IL. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Rachael was born February 1, 1970 in Tuscola, the daughter of Ramon P. Wierman and Suzanne Shrader.
Survivors include her husband, Eric Douglas of Astoria; son, Hawk Douglas and wife April of Havana; parents, Ramon P. Wierman and wife Kathy of Atwood; Suzanne Quiggle and husband Frank of Bath; sisters, Gretchen Williams of Havana; Christina Holt of Pesotum; half brothers, Edward P. "Buddy" Miller of Peoria; Christian Miller of Bath; and 2 granddaughters, Amelia and Hailey Douglas of Havana.
Rachael graduated from Atwood-Hammond High School Class of 1988 and received her LPN license from Spoon River Nursing School in Canton.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
