Phillip R. Conner, 43, of Tuscola, IL, died at 5:18 PM, Monday, July 17, 2006 as a result of an automobile accident near Arcola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M, Thursday, July 20, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held from 1-3 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with military graveside rites will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL.

Mr. Conner was born on October 18, 1962 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Charles L. "Chub" and Mary Belle Craig Conner.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Dakota Conner of Garrett, IL, Father: Charles L. "Chub" Conner of Mattoon, IL, Mother: Mary Belle Conner of Atwood, IL, 3 Brothers: Mark Conner of Pierson, IL, Eric Conner of Benton, IL, Craig Conner of Atwood, IL, 2 Sisters: Beth Cornwell of Atwood, IL, Sherri Kelly of Tuscola, IL, Paternal Grandfather: Edgar Conner of Tuscola, IL, Several Nieces and Nephews

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandmother and Maternal Grandparents.

Mr. Conner was a graduate of Atwood-Hammond High School. He served his country proudly as a member of the US Navy. He was a very thoughtful & devoted father to his daughter. He had a very uncanny sense of humor. He loved animals and especially his cats.
