Paul E. Woods, 96, of Arthur, died at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Arthur Home.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur, with Rev. Bruce Weiman officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral.

Paul was born January 21, 1922 in Douglas County, the son of Raymond and Irene Lewis Woods. He married Arlene Cornwell in Arthur on August 17, 1947; she preceded him in death on Dec. 9, 2005.

Survivors include his sister, Nadene Sebens, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother.

Paul retired from Quantum in Tuscola after 30 years of service. He was associated with farming all of his life.  He was a member of the Arthur United Methodist Church, 68-year member of the Masonic Lodge #651 of Atwood, Shriners, Order of Eastern Star, 32 Degree Springfield Consistory, and Mattoon Moose Lodge.

Memorials are suggested to the Arthur United Methodist Church.
