Paul Dean Murphy, 71, of Tuscola, IL, retired Illinois Department of Transportation foreman, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 10th at the home of his daughter.

Paul was born August 7, 1939 in Wheeler, Illinois to Merrion and Lorene (Bryant) Murphy. He married Jannetta Ruth Botts on August 20, 1960 at Dietrich, Illinois. Surviving is his wife, one daughter, Debbie (Tom) Bennett of Lovington, sons: Bill of Loden, Utah and Tracy (Molly) of Villa Grove. Two wonderful grandchildren, Micheal Murphy of Tuscola and Kimberly Murphy of Meridian, Idaho also survive with another on the way.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. John Stewart officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm, Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the Trexler Cemetery, rural Wheeler, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son.

Paul belongs to the Tuscola Moose Lodge and Tuscola Lions Club.

He will be sadly missed by family and friends and beloved beagle, Suzy.
